1991 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet
Unlike the 911, the 944 featured a 4-cylinder front-engine with rear-wheel drive. Given that very big difference from the famous 911, the model was miraculously successful. Porsche manufactured the 944 from 1982 all the way to 1991. Over the years, there were a number of upgrades and eventually achieving a top speed of 240km/h.
The 944 was once considered to be a comfortable, modernised and “civilised” version of the Porsche. It has 2+2 seats with a big trunk. Its pop-up headlights and checker-box like tail lights were iconic in the 80s.
This 944 S2 Cabriolet is in black with beige interior, equipped with pop-up headlights, optional 17-inch wheels, and factory fitted body of the 944 Turbo. It was produced in the very last year of its era. It has gone through a series of careful restoration processes including refurbished full leather interior, and fitted with the 968 suspension. The mileage counter has stopped working but mileage can be traced on all invoices revealing a full history of the car.
